BTS of TPEAK & Solr Eyes

Hi & Welcome! I thought I would share with you my inspiration for photography and designs. I am a aspiring journalist, seeking to find and share stories in a way that brings energy and joy to my community. Since I was very young I have been curious about how things work, exploring the tiniest details in nature around me and expressing my creativity through art.

I tagged along with my older siblings to their athletic events and would videotape their games. If I wasn't recording, I would be found opening up my sketchbook and colored pencils. I was shy, extremely shy, so I would watch all the other kids and journal about everything they did and said. My family always say I would be the one to remind them, "enjoy the process, "stop to smell the roses" as I would point out birds and bugs that looked every bit of ordinary.

I was only natural then that I would enter the world of writing to express my deep, philosophical abstracts about the meaning of life. Somehow through high school I ended up as the de facto babysitter, and I never complained since entertaining kids only takes a good imagination and a tiny bit of persuasion for them to "catch the vision."

In this information-saturated world it's easy to be overwhelmed or "give up" in the face of competition but I believe there is still a critical need for individuals with integrity.

Visual media plays such a large role in our everyday life that integrity is critical in conveying messages. I hope you will partner with me in this mission to build a stronger, safer and happier world.
